I became interested in Underground Post stamps whilst collecting Polish Post stamps. I couldn’t find one of the stamps in the Michel catalogue. That’s what inspired me to start searching for that particular stamp. I managed to establish that this was in fact a Polish stamp from the Solidarity Underground Post, which, for obvious reasons, could not be found in the official catalogue. This piqued my curiosity and encouraged me to take up collecting stamps from the Polish Solidarity Underground Post.
